Buttons Attic is a playful and colourful clothing brand that encompasses happiness, joy and positivity.

We design and make all our products by hand, right here in Sheffield, UK, to the highest possible standard using vibrant, fun fabrics, making sure each style is super comfy and hard wearing – high quality, sustainable hand made clothing made for playing out in!

As a business we pride ourselves on making children feel happy and comfortable in our outfits, celebrating uniqueness and individuality through the colours and patterns in our prints, because it’s fun to stand out from the crowd!

Our aim is to make people feel as happy wearing our designs as we do making them. We value the little people who wear our clothing just as much as the customers who buy for them.
All outfits are made using 100% cotton, meaning they are machine washable, durable and versatile, easy to care for and long lasting; making them perfect for casual everyday, parties, holidays and more! As everything is handmade, we also offer bespoke custom styles made to order where possible.

The business has evolved and grown with our own family, now a Mum of two myself, I understand the need for fashionable, fun and comfortable clothing, suitable for playing out in, getting dirty and washes easily. A little bit different from ‘the norm’, made to last and made sustainably using our signature beautiful fabrics.

Gender equality is the cornerstone of any society, especially in the African context. Having volunteered on The Girl Impact project in Moshi, Tanzania, I experienced the positive impact of investing in projects that seek to address the challenges that African women and girls face every day. We are proud that 5% of each sale from our African Wax Print collection is donated to The African Impact Foundation to support Gender Equality for women and girls in Africa and help educate, enrich and empower.
